A new version of the Unified Telematic System for the Diagnostic Activity

The Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell’Abruzzo e del Molise “G. Caporale” (IZSAM) has been using since the early 90' a Laboratory Computer System (SILAB) to support the registration and issuance of reports concerning the test samples received. The dematerialization project, commenced in 2009, started with reports in file format, which were sent by e-mail. At the same time the STUD, Unified Telematic System for the Diagnostic Activity was implemented. It is a web-application designed for public and private customers of the IZSAM' diagnostic activity. The objectives are to make the information on samples and their results always available, to give customers autonomy during the interrogation and extraction stages and to offer a secure storage system for the documents related to the sample sent.

From Monday the 23rd of February the new version of the Unified Telematic System for the Diagnostic Activity (STUD) of IZSAM is online. The functions are the same as the one of the previous version, but the graphical interface was changed and gives the opportunity to put more search filters with shorter response times. The same credentials as before can be used to access the STUD. The new accesses will be issued only by STUD2 (ACCESS > REQUIRE ACCESS)

A user guide and a brief brochure are available in order to become familiar with this new application.

During a first testing period both the applications will be available simultaneously in order to guarantee the access to the database. It is important to remind that the STUD2 requires a Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser, whereas STUD1 requires Explorer.
