Visit by Dr Yuval Hadani

Dr Yuval Hadani, head of the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development's Veterinary Department, visited the Institute on 16th and 17th November 2009.

A series of round-table meetings were held during the two-day visit to consolidate relations and discuss possible future cooperation projects between the Institute and the Israeli Veterinary Department.

Dr Hadani had already represented Israel at the "Animal Welfare during transport and related operations" training course organised by the G. Caporale Institute from 10th to 13th November 2009, as part of the "Better Training for Safer Food" strategy promoted by the European Commission's DG Sanco.
