In its capacity as OIE Collaborating Centre and Reference Laboratory, the Istituto G. Caporale hosted a technical and scientific meeting of the international workgroup of the world network for Bluetongue surveillance.


The meeting, which followed on from the one held in 2007 in Civitella del Tronto (Teramo), took place on 1 - 2 June in the halls of the International Centre for Veterinary Training and Information (CIFIV) at the Cerrano Tower (Teramo). 20 people took part, including international experts and the Institute staff.
