The Institute at the 16th Congress of the Italian Disaster Medicine Association (AIMC)

On Friday 13 and Saturday 14, November, 2015 the XVI Congress of the Italian Disaster Medicine Association (AIMC) has been held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Bari.

The AIMC has been operating for about 25 years in Italy with scientific-cultural activities in the field of management of medical aid in the event of major emergencies. For this purpose, the AIMC is organizing an important annual event in the field of Health Care and Management in the event of major emergencies, which develops through several multidisciplinary interventions of national and international speakers.

The National Congress is a significant moment for the important synergy between various institutions and the network of contact with various organizations and voluntary groups involved in the emergency medical service that the event has established over time.

The National Reference Centre for Veterinary Urban Hygiene and Non-Epidemic Emergencies, in the person of Dr. Fabrizio De Massis, has been invited to give a speech presenting the role and activities of the Centre.
