The IZSAM’ continual research

The Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell’Abruzzo e del Molise “G. Caporale” (IZSAM) is constantly involved in experimental research activities in the sectors of Animal Health, Veterinary Public Health and environment protection, to safeguard the health of animals and humans. Research is carried out following the strategy outlined by IZSAM within the network of the Experimental Zooprophilactic Institutes (IIZZSS) and taking into account the role attributed to the official laboratory in safeguarding citizens’ health.

On the 6th of June, the Conference entitled “The results of continual research conducted by the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell’Abruzzo e del Molise “G. Caporale”. Year 2013” will be held at IZSAM at the convention room of the International Centre for Veterinary Training and Information “F. Gramenzi” (CIFIV).

This event, which is the annual meeting of the Italian Veterinary Public Health operators, represents an occasion to share the results of the research financed by the Ministry of Health, with particular attention to the research activities concluded in 2013 in the fields of Food Safety, Animal Health and Animal Welfare.

At the end of the convention 4,5 CEM (Continuing Education in Medicine) training credits will be assigned to the veterinarians, chemists, pharmacists, biologists, biomedical health laboratory technicians taking part to the event.
