From Tunisia at IZSAM for food safety

From the 19th to the 27th of May 2014 Hayet Zaouchi, Latifa Khanfir and Aïda Tlatli of the Institut de la Recherche Veterinaire de Tunisie (IRVT), attended the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell’Abruzzo e del Molise “G. Caporale” (IZSAM) for a period of training lasting 10 days.

The training course focused on the use of the laboratory computer system (SILAB), the adopted operating procedures, the initial loading of tables and codes (territory, department, material, species, assessment, methods, etc.), as well as on the translation in French of the labels in the on-line form. It furthermore focused on the diagnostic aspects in the analysis of brucellosis in milk and on the aspects related to the Quality management.

The course was held mostly in the training rooms and at the Quality Assurance and Food Hygiene Units of IZSAM.
