From the 11^th to the 13^th of January 2010 Marlene Wartenberg e Ioana Gabriela Dungler of Vier Pfoten were in Teramo to meet the Director and the Executive Board in order to illustrate the strategies and future objectives of the foundation, to strengthen mutual collaboration and to develop potential common projects in the field of controlled reintroduction of wild animals from captivity, particularly related to their welfare and epidemiological surveillance.

During the visit was agreed to organise within the year 2010, an international conference dedicated to the responsible ownership of companion animals and to develop a thematic database.

Vier Pfoten (Four Paws) is a relevant charitable International Foundation for wild and domestic animal welfare based in Austria with offices also in Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Romania, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
