The conference brought together a number of experts from all over the world on issues concerning the veterinary activities in natural disasters within the framework of a "One Health" approach.
From the 23rd to the 27th of March, over four hundred delegates from the Pacific and Far-East area and experts from all over the world met in Kuala Lampur and exchanged opinions on veterinary topics.
During the last week of March, the Scientific Director of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell’Abruzzo e del Molise “G. Caporale” (IZSAM) went to Namibia and South-Africa to take stock of the situation as regards the current cooperation projects, to put in place future collaborations and to sign a new scientific agreement with the University of Pretoria.
Several researchers of the Diagnostic Veterinary Laboratory of Montenegro attended a training course at IZSAM, which is part of a European project aiming at strengthening the capabilities of the Montenegrin Veterinary Services for the control of the animal diseases having an impact on human health.
