Training on epidemiological methods and risk analysis
The Istituto started some training programmes for the researchers of the Epidemiology Department of the Hacettepe University Institute of Public Health in Turkey and the Central Veterinary Laboratory in Zimbabwe.

European Project on Bluetongue
Pale Blue is the name of the three-year research project on Blue Tongue virus the IZSAM awarded, among 18 other international partners, inside the context of Horizon 2020: the European Framework Program for Research and Innovation.

OIE Twinning project for South Africa
On 3 and 4 March at the CIFIV (Teramo), the kick off meeting of the twinning project on animal welfare promoted by the OIE, which involves the IZSAM and the University of Pretoria.
