Graduated in Law in 1989, she has been working at the Institute since 1990. Since 1994, she has held an executive position in the Administrative Sector, serving as Head of the Accounting and Financial Reporting Department. Her responsibilities include economic and financial planning and control, management of economic and asset accounting, preparation of financial statements, handling of payments and collections, tax management, project accounting, management of the petty cash fund, invoicing, credit recovery, and the financial and tax management of commercial activities.

She has attended numerous advanced training courses in her areas of expertise, organised by universities and leading training institutions, including Luiss Business School in Rome and the School of Management of Bocconi University, earning the corresponding academic credits.
From 1 September 1989 to 18 May 1990, she completed a legal traineeship at a leading law firm in Teramo and, on 11 October 1989, was registered in the special list of trainee attorneys.
She has also taught at the administrative officer training course held in 1993 and delivered lectures in the third module of the training programme for veterinarians and biologists held in Teramo in November 2002.
Among other experiences, she contributed to the Programming Sector of the Ministry of Health, participating in a working group dedicated to the implementation of analytical accounting in public bodies, in accordance with Legislative Decree 502/92.
