From the 10th to the 15th of September, 2012 Anastazija Konjarevic and Krunoslav Aladić underwent a training programme on the "Determination of thyrostatics in urine (HRGC LRMS method)" at the Teramo G. Caporale Inst itute headquarters, under request of the Croatian Veterinary Institute to which they belong to.
To further examine aspects and methodologies concerning this topic, the Teramo Inst itute was chosen based on its expertise and its international role as OIE (World Organisation for Animal Health) Collaborating Centre for Veterinary Training, Epidemiology, Food Safety and Animal Welfare.
In the "Bromatology and residues in foods for human and animal consumption" department, the Institute's Chemistry Unit, the Croatian researchers spent a week of theoretical and practical training on: standards' validation and use, calibration of gas chromatograph with low resolution mass spectrometry, uncertainty measurement and procedure quality control.
