On 27 February 2014 a delegation of the Thai Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, lead by the Director of the General Department of Livestock Development and OIE representative Tritsadee Chaosuancharoen, visited the IZSAM in Teramo.
The Thai delegation spent its morning in the CIFIV of Colleatterrato Alto (province of Teramo), and visited the laboratories and the facilities of the main office of IZSAM of Teramo in the afternoon.
The visit was aimed at sharing knowledge and experiences for a future cooperation between the Thai Ministry of Agriculture and the IZS of Abruzzo and Molise in the field of Food Safety and Animal Health. More specifically, issues relating to West Nile Disease, Bluetongue and Salmonellosis monitoring by the Institute have been focused on.
The delegation included the Director of the General Department of Livestock Development and OIE representative, Tritsadee Chaosuancharoen; the Director of the National Institute of Animal Health, Preecha Wongwicharn; the Director of the Eastern Regional Veterinary Research and Development Center, Somchuan Ratanamungklanon; the Director of the Animal Health Management Subdivision, Lerdchai Chintapitaksakul, the manager of the International Livestock Trade and Regulations Group, Thanawat Tiensin; Narumon Wiangwang and Kanyaray Chamrasnimonray.
