Dr Dganit Ben-Dov of the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development's Veterinary Department visited the Institute from 16th to 20th November.
Dr Ben-Dov visited the structures and laboratories of the Institute's headquarters and the diagnostic section in Pescara to study aspects of animal well-being and control of strays.
During her visit there was a useful exchange of information about both countries' systems of online management of the owned dog population, penalty systems, and management policies relating to ownerless animals (dogs and cats) captured.
