OIE Twinning with Turkey

The kick-off meeting of the OIE Twinning Project with the ETLIK Veterinary Control Central Research Institute (EVCCRI) of Turkey took place on the 22^nd of February 2013 at the International Centre for Veterinary Training and Information - CIFIV.

Main goal of the project is to improve the knowledge and technical competence of Turkish personnel on the diagnosis and monitoring of the West Nile Disease and to assist the EVCCRI in acquiring the status of OIE Reference Laboratory.

The kick-off meeting was the opportunity to define details for the subsequent operative phases of the project as well as to provide EVCCRI delegates with an overview of the activities of Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell'Abruzzo e del Molise "G. Caporale".

The meeting was attended by Orhan Aylan, Arife Ertuk, Fatma Çiğdem Pişkin e Ahmet Deniz.
