CAPS2 Project: technician from Croatia and Montenegro at IZSAM

At the IZSAM’ laboratories the training of the technicians coming from Croatian,Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania is provided following the calendar of activities of the project "Strengthening of Aquaculture Centres for production and Safety Surveillance in Adriatic Cross-border Countries - CAPS2".

From the 6th to the 10th of October 2014, Bojan Beljkas of the Centre for Exotoxicological Research of Podgorica (Montenegro), Tanja Bogdanović and Sandra Petričević of the Croatian Veterinary Institute of Spalato, Josipa Ćakarun and Kristina Kvrgić of the Croatian Veterinary Institute of Rijeka (Croatia) attended the “Laboratory of Bromatology,Residues in foods for human and animal consumption” in order to acquire methods and protocols related to the detection of benzopyrene and other Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH) in fish products.
