Seminar on the epidemiological situation in Mauritania

 

On March the 6th, 2012, dr. Mohamed El Moctar Ould Mohamed Maouloud of the Centre National d'Elevage et de Recherches Vétérinaires of Nouakchott (Mauritania), held a seminar at the Teramo Institute headquarters. During the event, he presented the epidemiological situation and the Rift Valley Fever control strategies carried out in his country.


Dr. Mohamed El Moctar Ould Mohamed Maouloud is undergoing a two-month training period at the Institute (from February the 13th to April the 13th), organised within the technical cooperation programme of the International Atomic Energy Agency, which focuses in particular on epidemiological surveillance systems and geographic information systems (GIS).
