The unit manages legal and administrative aspects of contractual and formal agreements with national and international third parties. It oversees incoming and outgoing correspondence for the Institute, ensuring proper distribution and progressive archiving. Additionally, it handles public relations activities, including access requests and complaints. The unit is also responsible for compliance with the deliberative procedures of the Director General and the Board of Directors.

 

Activities of the Unit:

  • Management of the Institute’s official protocol through the adopted digital procedures, in compliance with current regulations. This includes the receipt, registration, and distribution of incoming and outgoing correspondence, along with its archiving and preservation.
  • Legal and administrative management of collaborations and formal agreements with other Istituti Zooprofilattici, public bodies, and private entities.
  • Administrative management of the Institute’s equity holdings in affiliated companies.
  • Management of sponsorships in compliance with the relevant regulations.
  • Drafting and administration of agreements with other institutions, universities, and international organisations.
  • Administrative management of contracts for fee-based services provided to third parties.
  • Operation of the Public Relations Office, handling access requests and complaints.
  • Preparation and publication of internal regulations for online access to the Director General’s, Board of Directors’, and senior management’s decisions.
  • Compliance with registration and publication requirements for the Institute’s deliberative acts on the online official register.
  • Administrative management of the adoption and/or revision of service fee schedules.
  • Management of general affairs and related administrative requirements.

Federica Vanni

Head

Born in Giulianova, province of Teramo, she graduated in Law from the University of Teramo in 2001. She later passed the bar exam at the Court of Appeal of L’Aquila and earned a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Administration. She began her career collaborating with Formez PA and later worked for a consulting firm providing support to businesses and public entities in applying for European Commission funding programmes.

She later passed the bar exam at the Court of Appeal of L’Aquila and earned a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Administration. She began her career collaborating with Formez PA and later worked for a consulting firm providing support to businesses and public entities in applying for European Commission funding programmes.

In 2004, she started working at the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale in Teramo (IZS-Teramo), and in 2011 she was formally hired through a public competition as Administrative Officer. Over the years, she has worked in several departments: initially in the General Affairs Unit, then in the Projects and Partnerships Centre, and finally in the Human Resources Unit, where she gained extensive experience in managing recruitment procedures for both employees and freelancers.

In the meantime, she has attended and obtained numerous certificates from training courses in the field of human resources.

In 2024, she was appointed Administrative Manager at IZS-Teramo, continuing her work within the Human Resources Unit. On 1 October 2024, she was assigned coordination responsibilities for the General Affairs Unit, and from 1 May 2025, she was appointed Head of the same unit as a Simple Structure Manager.
