Meeting on Listeria monocytogenes and Campylobacter

The National Reference Laboratories (NRL) for Campylobacter and Listeria monocytogenes of theIstituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell’Abruzzo e del Molise “G. Caporale” (IZSAM) are organizing an event with the aim at illustrating the current situation of spread of Listeria monocytogenes and Campylobacter in animals, foodstuffs and humans in Italy and Europe.

The meeting will offer an occasion to present the scientific and technical updates on analytical tests related to the spread of both the pathogenic agents, as well as to illustrate the studies carried out by IZSAM’ NRL on the food products mostly involved in infections caused by Campylobacter and Listeria monocytogenes.

 The event, which will be held on the 25th and 26th of November at the Conference Room of the International Centre for Veterinary Training and Information “F. Gramenzi”(CIFIV), will be divided in two training sessions: each session will provide veterinarians, biologists, chemists, pharmacists and Biomedical Health Laboratory Technicians with 4,5 CME training credits.
