Lucio Ambrosj

Administrative Manager

Born in Teramo in 1962, he earned his degree in Law from the University of Chieti “G. D’Annunzio” in the 1985/1986 academic year.

In 1987, he completed a Master’s program in Industrial Management, and in April 1989 he began working at the Local Health Authority (ASL) of Teramo as an administrative officer. During that period, he also lectured at the local Nursing School until the late 1990s.

Appointed as an administrative manager at the ASL of Teramo in 2000, from 2002 onward he held several leadership positions in complex organizational units, including General Affairs and Secretariat of the Governing Bodies, Planning and Management of Economic and Financial Activities, and Coordination of the N.O.C. (Operational Control Unit) for the appropriateness and legitimacy of services provided by public and private healthcare facilities.

From 2010 to 2013, he served as Administrative Director of the ASL of Teramo. In 2009/2010, he furthered his education at the University of Camerino, and in 2011 obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health and Healthcare Organization and Management from the University of Chieti.

Registered in 2010 in the Regional Register of General Directors of the Abruzzo Region, he has also been listed since 2018 in the National Register of General Directors of the Italian Ministry of Health.

Lucio Ambrosj began his role as Administrative Director of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell’Abruzzo e del Molise “G. Caporale” on May 1, 2018.
