Courses, Conferences and Seminars

Face-to-face meetings, as well as training events in the conference hall, are important occasions for the transfer of skills, even today. It is for this reason that, notwithstanding the efforts made towards innovation in its range of training, the Institute pays particular attention to organizing conferences and seminars and to the design of traditional courses, managed in accordance with quality criteria which demand the pursuit of high standards throughout the process: from the definition of training needs to the design and delivery of courses and finally to assessment.

The Institute offers a coherent range of courses complete with specializations at a technical and scientific level, in particular on:

  • Food safety
  • Zoonosis
  • Epidemiology and surveillance
  • Managerial development
  • Animal health and welfare
  • Electronic registration and identification of animals
  • Organization of laboratories and services
  • Management and protection of wildlife and the environment
  • Health education and Pet Therapy (therapy assisted by animals)

The courses are delivered both at the Institute's central headquarters and in public and private buildings where this is requested (bespoke training). This last service represents a breakaway from traditional catalogue training, as it allows the training offer to be tailored to meet the learning needs of the client. There are many institutions and organizations which choose to arrange training on their own premises, drawing on the Institute's skills and expertise.
