The CAVE CANEM Academy is born, the project created by the CAVE CANEM Foundation as a tool to fight stray dogs and prevent abandonment.
The training will allow the acquisition of a series of specific and transversal skills which, in the various successful models present on the national and international territory, have proved to be central to obtaining important results, helping to ensure the containment of the number of stray animals and respect the welfare of animals cared for and their right to adoption.
The institute Zooprofilattico Sperimentale del Lazio e della Toscana (IZSLT) is an institutional partner in this project, it will host the courses organized by the Academy and will propose an in-depth technical-scientific course dedicated to veterinarians. The complete training offer can be consulted from the dedicated platform https://accademia.fondazionecavecanem.org/.
The training courses offered by the CAVE CANEM Academy can be used live, live online or as part of the webinars available on the site. There is also a practical part in places dedicated to the care and to look after of animals without families such as, among others, the Valle Grande shelter kennel and the Leishmania Center in Rome.
