Istituto G. Caporale di Teramo was pleased to host Dr. Slavoljub G. Stanojevic of the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture from 5-9 September 2011. The study was organised as part of the European IPA (Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance) program, with the aim of supporting Serbia in combating rabies and classical swine fever.

IPA offers assistance to countries engaged in the accession process to the European Union (EU) for the period 2007-2013. The aim is to strengthen institutional capacity, cross-border cooperation, economic and social development and rural development, supporting the stabilisation and association process of candidate countries and potential candidate countries while respecting their specific features.
